Director of Marketing Rachael
Rachael's Bio
Rachael believes great marketing is about connection — bringing people together, creating memorable experiences and helping clients feel confident about their future. As Director of Marketing at Layman Lewis, she blends creativity, strategy and a whole lot of heart to design engaging events and meaningful moments that make clients feel truly cared for.
Known for her upbeat energy and thoughtful approach, Rachael loves planning events that are not only fun and well-executed, but intentional. Whether it’s a client gathering, educational event or community celebration, her goal is always the same: make people feel welcome, valued and excited about what’s ahead.
Rachael’s path into financial services is anything but traditional. With a degree in Pastry Arts, she brings creativity, attention to detail and a hands-on mindset into everything she does — skills that translate seamlessly into marketing and event planning. Her background in business development further shaped her ability to build authentic relationships and understand what truly matters to clients.
Originally from Michigan, Rachael has called Longmont, Colorado, home for over a decade. Family is important to her, and she treasures the time she spends with her mom, aunt, sister and grandma — all of whom followed her west to the mountains.
Faith plays an important role in Rachael’s life, and she finds joy in serving and volunteering with the youth at her church. Giving back, mentoring and creating safe, encouraging spaces for young people is something she’s deeply passionate about.
Outside the office, Rachael enjoys hosting game nights, crafting, traveling, and fostering puppies and kittens whenever she can. She shares her home with her dog, Ruby, her cat, KitKat, and a rotating cast of four-legged fosters who have her heart.
