Our roots in this state we love run deep. When co-founder of Layman Lewis Financial Group®, Chuck Layman Jr., was 15 years old, he fell in love with Colorado on a family vacation. Fifteen years later, Chuck and his wife, Elaine, moved their family to the picturesque community of Loveland, Colorado.
In 1984, Chuck became a financial professional, serving retirees across Northern Colorado. His young daughter, Alicia, helped him in the business and later became a financial professional in her own right.
Recognizing their shared passion for helping people prepare for retirement, this dad-daughter duo established Layman Lewis Financial Group® in 2008. A few years later, Alicia’s husband, Joshua Lewis, joined the team, adding a level of technical acumen and attention to detail to the family-run business.
The three owners began developing a business model that played to the strengths of each person, supported by the diverse talents of support staff who understand the value of treating clients like family.
In 2022, Chuck gradually embraced retirement after 40 years of helping Northern Coloradans retire. He sold his company shares to Alicia and Joshua, who now serve as president and chief financial advisor, respectively.
Today, Alicia and Joshua balance work in the business and family life with their sons, Judah and Ezra. The young family’s favorite activities include boating, hiking, fishing, camping and climbing in this beautiful state.
