Zachary's Bio

“I love being part of something bigger than myself and helping others in need.”

From a young age, Zachary loved numbers, math equations and helping others — making financial services the perfect fit. Clients appreciate his attention to detail, positive attitude and dedication to helping them on their retirement journeys.

Before joining the Layman Lewis team, Zachary gained experience in several diverse roles, including raft guide, ski patrol, U.S. Army infantryman and kitchen manager. His military service with the Old Guard and the Presidential Escort Platoon instilled in him a strong sense of discipline and leadership, skills he carries into his current position.

Zachary holds a Bachelor of Science in financial planning from Colorado State University, where he also received his master’s in finance. His best piece of advice for clients:

“Don’t be reluctant to ask for help or advice about your finances.”

Away from the office, Zachary enjoys spending quality time with his family, friends and dog, Cooper. He loves adventuring in the great outdoors, snowboarding, skiing, fishing and hiking. Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, he’s also a proud supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs.
