Financial Professional Jeff Green

Jeff's Bio

Jeff’s three core values are relationships, family and faith. “Relationships are the substance of life,” he said. “Family is the core, and faith in God is the source of life.”

It means the world to Jeff that Layman Lewis Financial Group shares the same core values.

“I started and trained with a ‘big box’ financial organization but soon grew dissatisfied with their methods,” Jeff said. “They weren’t training me to be an advisor; they were training me to be a salesman. I wanted more, and that led me to Layman Lewis.”

In 2018, Jeff joined Layman Lewis Financial Group and noticed the cultural difference immediately. “Our firm pays special attention to client relationships,” Jeff said. “We also hold ourselves to a high degree of integrity and focus on what’s right for the client. I appreciate — and I know that our clients appreciate — the unique team approach to financial advising.”

Today, Jeff is highly involved in all aspects of the financial planning process. He meets with clients regularly to review their progress, assists with all aspects of the business process, and keeps up to date with the technology and products that might benefit clients.

Jeff enjoys how his job blends two things he loves: helping people and solving problems. “When we put together a plan for someone, I love seeing the financial confidence it brings — it’s rewarding!”

He’s also honored to support clients in hard times. “We walk through tragedies with our clients, such as losing a spouse or family member,” Jeff said. “We know that since they had a plan, they have a foundation to land on through the grieving process, and they don’t have to worry about money through difficult times.”

Jeff and his wife, Mary Beth, spend much of their time with kids and grandkids. They’re all big sports fans and are usually either playing or watching football, hockey or basketball. Jeff also enjoys playing his guitar and is active in his church and community projects.
